I recently stayed at Istay Cottages for my second trip and was once again delighted. The self-check-in process was seamless and the cabins were clean, safe, and well stocked. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute drive from the airport. I loved the unique feel of the property, combining the comfort of a bed with the ambiance of camping. The group kitchen was a great place to mingle with fellow travelers. The cabins were well heated and had good windows for spotting the northern lights. My only suggestion would be to move the rectangle window above the TV for an even better view. a fantastic stay!
100% recommend this hotel.

Check-in was a breeze, and our cabin was clean, spacious, and quiet. The fully stocked kitchen, with two fridges and a free leftovers section, was a nice surprise. The property is well-maintained and the boardwalk adds to the charming atmosphere. The location is peaceful, and the hosts, Hjördís and Jonas, were helpful and responsive. We highly recommend this place and hope to return one day.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The cabins were cozy and clean, perfect for a Christmas getaway. the location was great, with easy access to key attractions and amenities nearby. We also enjoyed the beautiful setting of the property, surrounded by nature and tranquility.
One of the main disappointments was the lack of proper customer service. the staff seemed unwilling to answer our questions and provide assistance.

The cottage was a good size, spotlessly clean, and had beautiful picture windows with great views. the communal kitchen was well-equipped and had useful food items and tea and coffee. Close to the airport, easy to get around in a vehicle. the local swimming pool and jacuzzi were free to use and a nice place to relax after exploring.
Felt like a true getaway, no complaints at all.

The common areas were nice and the breakfast was good. the location was quiet and there was a great seafood restaurant nearby.
The room was incredibly small, with no closets or drawers. the bathroom was also tiny and lacked basic amenities.

We stayed at Istay Cottages for one night and it was perfect for our needs. The cabins were tasteful and contemporary, offering plenty of space. The scenery from the windows was other-worldly in June. The proximity to Keflavik airport and nearby attractions made it a great value. The free access to the local swimming pool, hot tub, water slide, and sauna was a wonderful perk. The hosts were friendly and prompt. It's a great spot for campers too, with beautiful surroundings and the ocean nearby.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
